Introduction
FT-ZA-40 (Zirconia Fused Alumina 40) abrasive is a new, dense and fused alumina-zirconia abrasive produced for grinding wheel manufacture, which can extend life and improve cutting ability. It is produced by fusing Zirconia and alumina above 2000 degrees. FT-ZA-40 is a unique abrasive. It is characterized by a higher percentage of cubic zirconia evenly distributed throughout the individual grain. It cuts more aggressively, last longer, and exhibits more uniform wear.
FT-ZA-40 is recommended for using in resin-bonded portable, depressed center, and cut-off wheels.
Applications:
For Bonded Abrasives: Grinding wheels, Cutting Wheels etc.
For Coated Abrasives: Abrasive Belts,Sheets etc.
For Refractories: Bricks etc.
