Introduction
White Fused Alumina for Abrasives (FT-WA-01) is a pure, clear Fused Alumina, which makes the whitest vitrified wheels possible with low soda and silica content. This is the most friable aluminum oxide. Due to its high purity and large crystal size, its crystals fracture comparatively swiftly and constantly cutting crystals to small pieces.
White Fused Alumina for Abrasives is used in the grinding of heat sensitive alloys. Taking advantage of its friability and cool cutting ability, it is widely used in precision grinding of high speed steels, segments and internal grinding wheels.
