WFA for AbrasiveWhite Fused Alumina for Abrasives (FT-WA-01) is a pure, clear Fused Alumina, which makes the whitest vitrified wheels possible with low soda and silica content.
Calcined Bauxite is produced by calcining (heating) superior grade Bauxite under high temperature (from 850°C to 1600°C), which can increase the content of Alumina and reduce the moisture. Calcined Bauxite is used as raw material for manufacturing fused alumina, abrasives, steel polishing, blasting, for high alumina refractory bricks and castables for the iron & steel, cement, glass and oil industries. After calcining the raw Bauxite, the Alumina content of Calcined Bauxite is about 75-95%, varies according to different usages.
